New On The Block: Lou Parker

If you enjoy listening to the sounds of Bonobo, Daft Punk or Nicolas Jaar, then Lou Parker is for you.

Lou Parker is an electronic producer and multi-instrumentalist out of the Central Coast of New South Wales.

Renowned for his lush, cinematic soundscapes and bold percussive backdrops to emulate the foundations of traditional electronic music with a sprinkle of authenticity.

His sound draws inspiration from electronica, house, film scores with hints of traditional rock, jazz and blues.

Altogether, Parker’s sound is moulded in the essence of being an immersive musical experience.

But he is not necessarily ‘new on the block’, in his early days Parker was the lead guitarist in the band, Elaskia, who received mass Triple J Unearthed plays.

While playing with Elaskia, he supported International acts like Alpine, Jaguar Ma and Ocean Alley.

Parker also penned a guitar arrangement for Elaskia’s single, ‘Calling Out My Name’, as featured on the Netflix hit, ‘Dynasty’.

Let’s ease into some Lou Parker this summer with these two groovy tunes.

‘Remove’

‘Almost’
