Amber Simone is one fast emerging British singer-songwriting paving her way through the industry, winning the hearts of many.
Already cementing her spot performing to sold-out crowds at BBC Radio 1’s Big Weekend, Simone has already been hotly tipped by the music industry’s elite as one to watch.
Singing since shows 16, she grew up listening to the likes of the soulful voices of Millie Womack and Michael Jackson, including plenty of funk and soul and discovering indie electronica such as Niki and the Dove or Metronomy and 80’s film scores.
Growing up in East London and later moving to Hertfordshire in her early teens, since then she has been fortunate to write for the likes of Shy Luv, Franc Moody, Phairo and Joe Hertz.
Simone’s first three releases, ‘Violet Light’, ‘Throwing Arrows’ and ‘I’m Feeling High’ have been all numerously played across the BBC Radio 1 and Capital networks.
Further reinstating her impeccable aptitude after touring a wave of sold-out festival gigs, she was invited by John Legend to accompany him on his UK arena tour.
Her debut EP, ‘For Those Moments’ dropped in April last year, go give it a good ol’ listen HERE.
